Short Stay Visa

Visa applications must be submitted in person by legal residents of the Eastern Caribbean and Barbados to the visa department of the French Embassy in Saint-Lucia, by appointment only.

First, use “Visa wizard” to check, based on your situation, whether you need a visa and if so, what type. The wizard will also tell you what documents must be enclosed with your application, along with the relevant fee.

DO I NEED A SHORT STAY VISA ?

⚠️ ATTENTION: Due to peaks in demand for visas at certain times of the year, longer waiting times for appointments may apply. The time to get an appointment slot at the French Embassy might take up to several weeks, especially during the summer season (May to September). Make sure to anticipate your request and start the process as early as possible.

Book an appointment online

Before your visa appointment, you must fill out an online application form on the FRANCE VISAS website. You will be guided through the whole process by on-screen explanations. ATTENTION: Please note that if you are going to France AND to a French overseas territory, you will need to apply for two different visas and to fill out two different application forms.

⚠️ APPLICANTS ARE ASKED TO READ CAREFULLY ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE FRANCE VISAS WEBSITE BEFORE COMING TO THEIR APPOINTMENT: Steps of a visa application
