Minute of silence for the victims of the recent terrorist attack on Paris
The French Embassy to the OECS Member states and Barbados will be observing today November 16 at noon (12pm) a minute’s silence to show our compassion and solidarity to all the families who have lost a parent or close relative in the atrocious terrorist attacks perpetrated in Paris on Friday 13 November, which left 132 people dead and over a hundred seriously wounded.
We will remember the victims and also demonstrate our resilience in face of such acts of barbarism: freedom will prevail always.
We therefore invite all those available to join us in this occasion.
A book of condolences will be open for signing at the end of the minute’s silence.
This minute’s silence will also be observed at the same moment at the Alliance Française of Castries, as well as in all the other Alliances Françaises of our network in the OECS and Barbados.
